Twitchers Self-Catering Lodge is located in Bosplasie, Onrusriver within the renowned Hermanus district of the Overberg.
Our Lodge offers spacious Family Self-Catering accommodation within beautiful and tranquil surroundings.
This unique accommodation has a magical ambience, together birdfeeders and a bird-friendly environment to capture your lifer,
Hermanus, Gansbaai, Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond are close enough to explore from the Twitchers Accommodation base, yet far enough from the bustle not to intrude on your peace and privacy.
Enjoy the magnificent sunsets by the beach, walks along the renowned Hermanus Cliff Path, visit Harold Porter Botanical Gardens, Kogelberg or Fernkloof Nature Reserves, all are close by, as are the wine estates of the Hemel and Aarde valley.
Reasonable Pet requests will be considered.

As we are in a Nature Reserve No Pets are Allowed.

There are a number of Bird Species from:

Pelicans, flamingos, spoonbills, raptors and a variety of other birds are often seen all around the lagoon.

Wild horses live freely among the dunes and have done so for many years.

Delightful walks along the unspoilt sandy beach between the closed mouth of the Bot River lagoon to Kleinmond. The entire area is a nature lovers dream.
